Renovation Pics and cards

We had a busy week this past week with the renovations, the stumps were put in on the extension and boy was that an experience. Those holes were huge.

Went to paperific on Friday and had a great time, did some make and takes, bought some Alison Ellis papers and embossing powders, a couple of stamps and flowers and some beautiful mirror butterflies. Came home all inspired and made some Chistmas cards with stamps from Kaszazz and AE embossing powders, first couple were a little smudged but got better with practice. Saturday night the boys, DH and I went into the city(melbourne) and walked around, it was such a beautiful night we saw some lovely fireworks and I wished I had brought my camera. Sunday we walked around Albert Park Lake and saw these cute little baby swans (took my camera this time) so had to get some photos. DS2 took a couple of shots also.

DS2 took the next two shots he was lying on the ground.

Renovation photos: Cleared site ready for stunping.

Another hole. can you belive how deep they are 1200 deep 600 wide.

Finished all the holes, 44 holes in total.

Friday all the stumps went in. Yay.

Here are some of the Christmas cards that I made.

Hope you enjoyed this weeks post. Don't forget to leave a message. Have a great week.

cheers

Sorry they are not in order. But now all the demolision work is done and we are currently having the front of the house restumped. Next week the stumps will be done for the new extension. Yippee.

Bye for now.

Pics of Renovations

Some pics of the demolision of our little old house. We are owner/builders so we are doing everything we possibly can ourselves.
The Garage wall being secured.
The back of our poor old house and the concrete started to be broken up.
More concrete or less which ever way you look at it.
We found an old pipe for the clothesline under the concrete. Arthur trying to get it out. Unfortunately it proved to hard and we hav left it in.

I can't believe how long it has been......

since I laast blogged. 3 Months is such a long time. We have been busy little bees here. We started pulling down the back of our house ready for our extensions.

Firstly we had to support the wall in the garage so that it could be pulled down then we had to pull up all the contrete before we could even pull down part of he house. Anyway it is all done now and ready for the next stage. Reblocking and building. DH has taken 3 months off work to do the extension as we are trying o do as much as we can ourselves. I will post some picks soon of the demoilishing stage as DH has the camera and he has gone away for the weekend.

Bye for now.
