I have finally done some scrapping, the lovely Heidi hosted a CC over at SM on the weekend and these are my creations of the challenges. I haven't scrapped in ages and the challenges have been an inspiration for me to get back into it.

This one here is Challenge 2, there where 4 colours combos to choose from I choose the 2nd combo. I am quite happy with it.

I have used purple and jade cardstock and a pp scrap that I had in my stash. The stamp is a Kaszazz stamp and flowers made from punches. Kaiser Rhinestones in the middle. The top flower is also punched but in vellum, which I prestamped.

This was from Challenge 1, we had to make a A5 mixed media page first then use it on our LO.

On the background white card I have used a red a blue smooch spray then smudged them, then I added paint which I put onto corregated paper then pressed onto the card. I punched out a circle and bits which I then stuck down, followed by stamping on a Kaiser stamp with a faded technique using black stazon ink. I then inked the edges. I am quite happy with it as I haven't done much of this before. It really gets the creative juices flowing.

Then I added it to my LO.

I tried a different techniques with this photo. Just having a little bit of colour with the black and white photo. Quite simple to do and very affective.

I enjoyed my scrapping and I have 2 more challenges to do. One I have already started and the 2nd, I still need to think about.

I'm Back

Well hi everyone,

Don't know if anyone reads this but what the heck. We have finally moved back into our house after 2 1/2 years of renovation. Not finished yet though. But at least we are home. Will be getting back into scrapbooking when my lovely studio is finished be fitted out, it is full of boxes at the moment.

My boys have a big year this year with Anthony doing Year 12 and Ronnie doing Year 11. They are studying like made already.

I am waiting on the hot water service technician as we have no hot water, very frustrating but the plumber has been back twice and he thinks it must be the hot water service it self. Heres hoping that it gets fixed today.

New Layout

Just a quick blog with a layout that I have completed for a swap I did. Really enjoyed playing with a girly photo, makes a nice change from the boy ones I usually do.

Oh my god I cannot believe how long it has been since I have blogged. Such a long time. Many things have happened and we are still busy renovating. I have become a Kaszazz consultanat and thought that I would keep my creation for Kaszazz seperated from my others. I have put up some cards that I have made and some workshops. ALO's, a CJ and a card.

The Manufacturer's Challenge at roll2create this month is Kaiser, this is my example. I have also finished my entry into Tamara's CJ (tickled pink from SM forum) for the Life experience CJ. And last lastly a card. Ronnie DS2 has been invited to a 13th Birthday party.

I am off to Queensland tomorrow with Ronnie, we are going up there for the Mens Gymnastics Australian Championships where he will be competing at Level 7. I am going as a chaperone.

Two Icon's Die

It was sad to hear the news that both Farrah Fawcett and Micheal Jackson have died. I grew up with them both being major parts of my life.

Charlies Angels was a great show when I was a teenager and was a ground breaking television show for women.

Michael Jackson was the most famous and loved star of my generation and although controversial in the latter part of his life he was a megastar.

My thoughts and prayers go to both families.

Surprise Cyber Crop

Well last night we started the Surprise Cyber crop over at roll 2 create and 2 of the 5 challenges where set.

Challenge 1 (my challenge) is to create a LO that has a surprise or hidden photo/journalling in an unual way, you need to use ribbon and also bling of some kind.

These are my examples for the challenge, if you would like to take part in the CC go on over to roll2create and join in the fun. Tonight there will be 2 more challenges for everyone. And Saturday night we will be having a Cyber Crop technique class, which once again I will be hosting.
